An example of how good design will always endure. This piece, with its bolection detailing, was based on an original of around 1730. The jambs are angled and recessed and the plinth returns to a square interior. Now, it has been adapted to a modern design and offers a simple yet effective frame for a fireplace.
Shown here in semi regio limestone with matching hearth and swans nest basket.
