The Hersham mantel is displayed here in Aegean limestone found in the Eastern Mediterranean The design was first seen in Georgian homes and widely used in the 19th Century. The insert comes with polished arch bands, it is made from cast iron and is a simple design that would have been used in many homes.
Available as a Special offer setting with the Hersham mantel to include the granite hearth Cast iron insert and gas fire .
An adjustment to the original design of the insert as seen here in the Provident allows for a glass fronted higher efficiency gas fire to be considered as an alternative to the standard insert.
