The Alice

The Alice appears to be a modern piece though it is actually a Scottish design from Edwardian times. The period detailing appears discreetly in the bevelled edge to either side of the jambs and the top plinth. Shown here in Sivic marble with matching hearth and polished Georgian simple basket.
